For example, you’ve taken a photo with your brother at a famous landmark, and you took another with your wife later. This comes in handy for owners of large digital photo libraries. Bear in mind that you have the function to exclude subfolders from your search.Īnother key feature is the discovery of similar pictures. There’s also the Compare All option where the program analyses your chosen disk space in its entirety. There’s a Folder vs Folder comparison for instances when you know where the pictures are located. The app allows you to perform two different types of comparison. Alternatively, you can let the app decide which version of the picture is the best. I wonder if the unsigned version of Perl in 8.3.0 is responsible for this problem.Once the app returns the results for your duplicates search or similarity search, you’ll have the option to delete or perform tasks individually or on a group of files. Reading the change log for 8.3.1, I see the addition of a signed version of the custom Perl build. What am I missing here? Anyone else have this problem? So right now, I'm in the process of copying all my music library files over to a HFS+ formatted drive to see if that solves the problem. I'm guessing that permissions on the APFS volume might have something to do with this. The only thing I can think of is that it may have to do with the fact that I formatted the external drive as APFS. But OSX still blocks perl from accessing files on my external drive, and displays the pop up shown in the screenshot. As you can see from the attached screenshot, I have granted permission for perl to access removable volumes. That didn't work, so a little more digging revealed the new "Files and Folders" security options in the Settings. At first, I tried granting read/write permissions to "everyone" for the entire drive. When I click OK, LMS can access the external drive and music will play at the Squeezebox Touch. "perl" would like to access files on a removable volume.
